Traveling on Roads

There are roads to lead from almost every city to every other city on the world. All roads provide a movement increase of 50% to anything that travels on them, even hostile monsters. Roads are generally safe, as in, very few if any hostile creatures spawn or come near the roads with the exception of bandits and thieves which can be found near roads more often than anywhere else. Guards from local kingdoms often patrol the roads as well as friendly NPCs but there is rarely ever excitement near the roadways. If you are seeking adventure, you must travel AWAY from the roads into the unpopulated areas. There you will find at least one point of interest in almost every outdoor area

The River

There is a wide river that runs from the Urik Plains in he west all the way to the Elven Kingdom of Holindale in the east. Along this river is a  ship that can ferry you to several locations along the river

Kingdoms

There are several kingdoms across the world each with their own laws and particular look and feel. Kingdoms usually encompasses 2-3 areas where it exercises it's control which is typically a large city and one or two rural areas nearby. Each kingdom also has at least one rare natural resource in it's vicinity like Silver, diamonds or Rare Woods which forms the basis for the trade and economy in the game.  What kingdom an area belongs to is usually indicated by the kingdoms colored banners along the roadsides and borders. Usually there will be the appropriate guards patrolling the area and enforcing the laws of that kingdom. The 8 kingdoms found in the World of Torr are: Torr, Urik, Igmar, Abrightis, Mogar (dwarven), Berrymuck (Halfling), Holindale (Elven) and Doomsha (Evil).
